"Matchpoint Of Our Love" was written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love for The Beach Boys' 1978 album, M.I.U. Album. Brian sang the lead vocal on "Matchpoint Of Our Love". After Brian's somewhat gruff and hoarse vocals on the previous two Beach Boys' albums - 15 Big Ones (1976) and The Beach Boys Love You (1977) - many fans were happy and surprised to hear Brian singing in a smoother and more relaxed style.
