Me and one of my best mates as a kid, Ste Reid, used to play this in his house loads when we were in highschool. Such a great game!

Lethal Weapon is a side-scrolling action-platform game, a tie-in to the film series, released on the Amiga in 1992. It was developed and published by Ocean Software Ltd.

The Plot: You choose to play as one of the two LAPD partners, Martin Riggs or Roger Murtaugh, as they take on a series of difficult missions based on "greatest hits" from their adventures. These missions include rescuing a friend, defusing a bomb in a shopping mall, stopping a dockside smuggling operation, and finally tracking down the main villain (Jack Travis from Lethal Weapon 3).

The Gameplay: The game features action-oriented, flick-screen and semi-scrolling platform levels. You use a handgun, limited ammunition, and grenades to battle criminals. You begin the game in the police headquarters, where you choose which of the initial missions you want to tackle first. The Amiga version is often praised for its smooth scrolling, detailed character animations, and tight controls, which made it the most playable of the computer ports.
