Exploring Montana: Mt. Marston Fire Lookout

Mt. Marston is a prominent peak just south of Eureka, Montana. Sitting at over 7300', there is a fire lookout that is accessible via road. The road is in pretty good shape, although your definition of a good road may be different than ours. Once you adjust to rural Montana life, your definition of a good road changes dramatically!

After some time at the lookout, we explore some of the area lakes and stop by HA Brewing. This brewery has a tasting room and they brew some tasty beverages, as well as serve good food. Definitely worth stopping if you're in the area.

The day was wrapped up with a relaxing campfire. A perfect end to a perfect day.
