Talk: Britten bike

The Britten V1000 is arguably Aotearoa New Zealand’s most famous motorbike – an iconic feat of design and engineering hand-built by John Britten and his team.

Here, Bob Brookland and Craig Roberts shared their memories of John and explained what made his world-beating motorbikes so unique.

They removed the bodywork of the Britten V1000 revealing rarely seen working parts. Questions from the audience brought out more stories and details about John, and the 10 Britten Bikes from the people who know it well!
