PMGR: Improving Birth Outcomes: Access to Doulas and Evaluation Across Sectors

The April 2022 Preventive Medicine Grand Rounds features two presentations by Preventive Medicine Fellow Dr. Meagan Chuey and Population Health Training in Place Program Fellow Ms. Makeda Vanderpuije. In the first presentation, Dr. Chuey will discuss how reimbursing doula services helps reduce health disparities. In the second presentation, Ms. Vanderpuije will demonstrate the use of the CDC Evaluation Framework in assessing and improving a multi-sector collaboration to enhance the systems serving residents experiencing both homelessness and pregnancy.
