California’s European Fairytale Town! Solvang & Santa Barbara (PCH Road Trip)

California’s Pacific Coast Highway is the bucket list road trip for many travelers. In this PCH Road Trip series we take you along on our travel adventure to see why this is one of the best road trips in the United States, and the World!

During our first stop on the PCH road trip, we spent a day exploring sunny Santa Barbara, California by bike while checking off some of the best things to do in Santa Barbara! We had a wine tasting, cruised the beach, and took in the gorgeous Spanish Revival architecture.

After Santa Barbara, we drove over to Solvang, California. Founded by Danish immigrants, Solvang is a piece of old world Europe right in California.

We tried several Danish bakeries and even got to know a few locals along the way. You cannot miss this Pacific Coast Highway road trip series!
