Andrews government legal fees were '$12.3 million to say I know nothing' at hotel quarantine inquiry
Sky News host Paul Murray says Daniel Andrews' legal bill, to come up with "I know nothing" at the inquiry into hotel quarantine, cost $12.3 million - "more than double the cost of the actual inquiry itself".
"We learned today that the Victorian state government, all of the public servants - their legal bill to come up with 'I know nothing' was $12.3 million - more than double the cost of the actual inquiry itself," he said.
"So Chairman Dan, who set up the inquiry, who had more money than the inquiry, to defend himself against the inquiry - is let off the hook by the inquiry - but thanks for keeping us safe mate."
