Stretching and Foam Rolling for Vertical Jump (FULL ROUTINE) // Looking for a stretching and foam rolling routine for athletes? In this video I will take you through foam rolling for vertical jump and stretching exercises for athletes that will give us all of the benefits of foam rolling and stretching that we need to unleash our full potential as an athlete.
In this routine we will be foam rolling our lower back and all the muscles of our legs, including our IT band, calves, quads, and hamstrings. We will also be stretching for vertical jump by doing the couch stretch, hamstring stretch, quad stretch, achilles stretch, pigeon stretch, butterfly stretch, frog stretch, and squat stretch.
If you were to ask about foam rolling vs stretching and which was more important, I would say stretching, but I would also say that it only takes five minutes to foam roll. Lastly, if you are foam rolling for knee pain, this will help you tremendously, and you will see noticable changes extremely fast. Enjoy, and happy training!
