Pavarotti B Natural Compilation from La Donna E Mobile

A compilation of a bunch of Pavarotti's B naturals on 'Pensier' from Rigoletto (sans the famous cadenza, because, reasons). It's an incredible display of consistency: the recordings cover a span of 23 years which is only slightly smaller than my entire lifespan. There is also a segment with only the B naturals in sequence to really showcase the consistency.

Pavarotti is the definitive Duca di Mantova. He sings the whole role with just as much energy and aplomb as he does the Duca's showcase aria. Intersting fact: every gondolier in Venice was singing this the morning after the premier in 1851.
