Kursk / Курск
Kursk is the capital of Kursk oblast (region). Found in 1032, 115 years earlier than even Moscow. Population is 430 000 inhabitants. While it is famous worldwide for the WW2 and operation "Citadel" or "Kursk tank battle"-the largest tank battle ever occured in 1943 and resulted to entire defeat of Germans.Today we tell and show the most popular sights of the city.
