Quasars, Black Holes, and Active Galactic Nuclei. By Bill Busler

http://www.MemphisAstro.org. Bill discusses each of these phenomena separately – the discovery of quasars and their enigmatic nature, the theoretical model of black holes and their eventual discovery, and the origin, evolution, and structure of galaxies. To conclude the presentation, Bill shows how all three of these topics are closely related. Presented at the May 4, 2018 MAS General Meeting.

Note: Last 5 minutes of the presentation not available, because the camera SD Card ran out of space. Sorry about that!
