Copepods marine, Tigriopus, adults, hatching, nauplii-Dr G. Hotos Lab, Greece.

I collect copepods from the lagoon of Klisova in Messolonghi Greece and then culture them in my laboratory. There are many Tisbe and Tigriopus species harpacticoid copepods and Calanoids as well. Concerning the ease of culture first comes Tisbe then Tigriopus. In this video there are live swimming adults of mixed population of Tisbe and Tigriopus, then adult female Tigriopus, gravid female Tigriopus (with one egg sac), then hatching of Tigriopus eggs and finally Tigriopus nauplii at high (400 X) magnification.
