DRY-RUN PROTECTION feature is added on the pump’s design. Pump works at rated voltage: When there exists insufficient in-flow or no in-flow (or significant bubble inside the in-flow), pump's DRY-RUN protection will be triggered: Pump will access status of stop-run-stop-run-stop-run---cycle. When in-flow comes sufficiently again, pump will then re-access normal run performance. -- This DRY-RUN protection is aimed to protect our pump product from DRY RUN for long time in some context, which will physically damage the rotor and pump connection part. Pump could be dead due to this.
Yet, this DRY-RUN protection mechanism sometimes may cause some abnormal phenomenon when pump is installed in some specific systems, since this mechanism is deemed as sensitive to external environment (to protect pump itself). Sometimes users may place such monitoring mechanism in the whole system, and certain DRY RUN scenario is tolerated by users at use. -- In this context, DRY-RUN protection mechanism may be a ‘trouble’, to some users' systems, though it is good protection mechanism to pump itself.

Of course, the latter can also be customized, ie REMOVE-OFF-DRY-RUN-PROTECTION version, based on MOQ and lead time.
