Having a good well-thought-out portfolio website is imperative to succeeding as a designer.

I believe the best way of highlighting the importance of having a good portfolio website is by comparing it to a bad one, and that's exactly what we're doing in this video.

Having a bad portfolio can be detrimental to your client acquisition efforts because the first thing a client is going to want to explore upon meeting you is your portfolio website. If it can't sell you, as a person, and display your awesome skills, then people have nothing to go off of to hire you.
