Secured behind a locked gate, the site features a well-maintained driveway that avoids the classic swampy mess other sites often fall victim to. A short walk leads to the entrance, where Ken-front counter extraordinaire-welcomes you with a quick check-in process, be it walk-on or pre-booked. This hassle-free introduction sets a positive tone for the day.

A small on-site shop stocks all your essentials-BBs, gas, and those always-forgotten extras. What sets Splatoon apart? Proper facilities. None of those grim Portaloos or burger vans here. Instead, permanent toilets and a cozy kitchen are at your service, where £1.50 grants unlimited hot drinks for the day (plus a souvenir cup). Hot meals are pre-ordered during check-in, cutting down lunch rush chaos. The covered safe zone offers a dry, spacious area for gearing up, ensuring comfort and elbow room for everyone.

**Safety First**

Splatoon's safety brief is concise yet thorough, covering guidelines, FPS limits, MED rules, and surrender policies. Chrono checks are mandatory before the first game, ensuring fair play. The marshalling team is sharp and attentive, even keeping track of players with health conditions.
