The champions Kawasaki Frontale gave their fans a fine end to a perfect season today as they defeated Kashiwa Reysol by 3-2 in the final game of the season.

Kashiwa Reysol looked to be in the drivers seat, going 2-0 up after 46 minutes, with a composed strike from this seasons top goal scorer Michael Olunga and a powerful finish by Yusuke Segawa.

The game looked over and done. However, Kawasaki Frontale proved why they are the champions and brought three goals back in the second half.

A brace from Akihiro Ienaga and a punishing finish from Leandro Damião meant that the J1 champions finished the season with a fantastic 3-2 win away from home.
