Hong Kong is spearheading efforts to develop new standards for testing jade, which is known in East Asia as fei cui. At the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, 5-9 March 2013, local industry experts briefed traders on the progress of the ongoing work to develop the standards, expected to be unveiled later this year.
