November 23rd 2018, I married the man of God's plan. We all worshipped Jesus in the grove before I walked down the aisle. Jesus was lifted up in praise and such a sweet presence of the Lord settled on us. The horses at our venue seemed to know exactly what was happening, and came to watch the display of glory. When we walked out and I saw the look on Ryan's face, he became the only one I saw and I couldn't wait to get to him. I'm so grateful we surrounded our vows to each other in worship to Jesus.
I thought I could imagine what marriage would be like, but it has been so much more than I could have hoped for. Ryan is thoughtful and kind, brilliant and hilarious, and he holds my hand in his sleep; but more than that, he is a man of integrity and honor. I love to hear him pray and when we have Jesus talks together. This first year together has been so life giving and growing.
He has written me many songs to depict our relationship, but I believe my favorite is the one he wrote to ask me to become his wife. You can hear his sweet voice and that very song in this video.
I love you, Ryan Kennedy. Forever. For us.
