🐯 Carried away by playing with a fish, a white-coat seal named Ap-Ak doesn’t notice how he finds himself on a loose ice floe amidst the ocean. Looking forward to a tasty lunch, False Killer Whale immediately takes up the ice floe and carries the seal further into the ocean. Having heard an appeal for help, the friends rescue Ap-Ak and decide to find his parents. During the search the friends lend help to Stromay, a baby sea elephant who got stuck between two blocks and, having mistaken him for a seal, ask him to take Ap-Ak to their rookery. Breaking into laughter, Stromay tells them a legend about a variety of pinnipeds, from which the friends learn that they were mistaken. Ap-Ak is in fact a seal, and on the way to the seal rookery they need to beware of sea leopards that resemble seals so much. While continuing their journey, the friends run into Motné, a female sea leopard who lures seals to her den, pretending to be a seal. Having recognized a predator in Motné just in time, the friends dive with Ap-Ak into an ice tunnel, get away from the chase by Motné and find themselves on the seal rookery. Ap-Ak’s parents turn Motné away and in gratitude walk with the friends to the ship.
