TELLING MY HUSBAND I'M PREGNANT AFTER 15 YEARS INFERTILITY! + FIRST ULTRASOUND & HEARTBEAT!

Hey guys!! Today's video is the absolute most requested video on my channel to date - telling my husband Zack that we're finally having a baby!! In case you don't know the backstory, we've been together for 15 years, and of that 15 years, we tried to get pregnant for 5 straight years. I have PCOS and do not ovulate and we did TONS of fertility treatments, and i have never been pregnant. After we stopped trying and accepted our lives as a child-free couple, I noticed my chest was sore the day my cycle was supposed to start, I had an old pregnancy test in the cupboard and thought, what the heck why not - took the test and it was INSTANTLY positive. 40 minutes later, after freaking out and losing my mind (as this has never happened before and we were told WOULD never happen) Zack woke up and I decided to tell him. No big elaborate surprise, just pregnancy tests in the drawer and both of us in absolute shock and disbelief.

Here ya go! We also take you to our first ultrasound for viability to make sure the baby was intra-uterine and when we went to our first midwife appointment and heard the heartbeat for the first time. We also bought a baby-doppler and listened to the baby at home for the first time!!

*FYI* I 10000000% know that at home-fetal dopplers are not a replacement for medical care. Ever since I spoke about it on IG people have been really adamant about telling me not to use them because they can cause a false sense of security, while I understand that sentiment - please just let me enjoy my pregnancy and let us revel in the excitement that is this miracle baby. I am smart, and do not want to stop doing exciting things for fear of not hearing the heartbeat. I would NEVER replace medical care with an at-home fetal doppler, it is merely just for fun and we have used it very very rarely.

We also haven't had the 20 week ultrasound yet *as I am uploading this, I am just over 17 weeks pregnant* so hopefully everything is still going well and baby is developing well! The last time we saw the baby was at 8 weeks pregnant, the last time we *heard* the heartbeat was - today :)
