2014 Nissan Quest - Vehicle Information Display
Located below the vehicle's speedometer is the Vehicle Information Display, and Trip Computer. The switches are located on the side of the instrument panel.
Select among the Trip Computer modes by pushing THIS switch. The modes are:
o Current and Average Fuel Consumption,
o Average Fuel Consumption and Speed
o Elapsed Time and Trip Odometer
o Range or Distance to Empty
o Outside Air Temperature
o Setting and
o Warning Check
The "Average Speed" and "Average Fuel Consumption" modes show average readings since the last reset. To reset these modes, push THIS switch for more than one second. Resetting one will automatically reset the other at the same time.
The "Elapsed Time" mode shows the time traveled since the last reset. Your "Trip Odometer" records the distance your vehicle has been driven since the last reset. To reset these modes, push THIS switch for more than one second. Resetting one will automatically reset the other at the same time.
The "Range" or "Distance to Empty" mode provides you with an estimation of the distance that can be driven before refueling. Distance to empty is constantly being calculated, based on the amount of fuel in the fuel tank and actual fuel consumption, with updates every 30 seconds. When the fuel level is low, a warning will appear to alert the driver.
The "Outside Air Temperature" mode displays the exterior air temperature and includes a low temperature warning feature.
You can use the Setting menu to adjust alerts for driving conditions, maintenance reminders and Language/Unit options.
You can set alerts to notify the driver about things such as, time to rest or icy conditions. The Maintenance screen lets you set reminders for different service intervals like oil changes and tire rotation. On the Options screen, you can adjust features like the language and measurement units used in the system.
The Warnings screen displays alerts for items such as open doors or low fuel conditions. Please see your Owner's Manual for more information on all Trip Computer features.
