Renault Megane II handbrake / parking brake cable replacement.

On this video I am showing how to disable the parking brake, how to remove handbrake cable, install a new one and how to adjust it.

Speaking more about adjusting, make sure you dont over tighten your handbrake adjusting nut, it should be around 2,1 cm, if you have black bracket as I did, if you want to check if you have done it right, just drive around and dont use parking brake at all..when you stop just feel by your hand if rear wheels aren't hot, if they are nice and cool and you can park safely your car, surely you have tightened enough your parking brake adjustment nut.

Any way the work is rather easy and does not take too much of knowledge nor you will need special tools, just a few really common tools.
