Making toys for my kids is one of my favorite things.

Some toys are surprisingly tricky to make 🙃 But those little details are what make them feel alive.

You don’t always have to use only paper vine for the whole piece, either. For this giraffe, I used extra materials for the eyes and tail to bring in more character.

I know paper vine can look a little exotic when you first see it, but it’s actually really easy to work with. If you’ve been looking for a new hobby, this might be your sign to give it a try.
