Sculpfun S9 Air Assist Nozzle

This is a quick video I shot to show my latest nozzle variant. I have had a few people ask me to make one for the Sculpfun S9. This one took a while to come up with a solution that I was happy with, but I am happy with it so far. I hope that you too might be happy with it as well!

This nozzle comes with two acrylic adapter plates to fit within the 32mm wide and 6mm deep recession of the S9 module (Be sure yours is not a different variant, check the photos I posted and the dimensions). One of the adapter plates is smaller to fit inside the ID of the cylindrical laser shield. You can still use your laser shielding with this nozzle if you are willing to drill a hole in the side of the shield to let the air inlet through. A great first project with the nozzle would be to use the larger adapter plate to install the nozzle and use it with air assist to cleanly cut a hole in the side of the laser shield tube (if you are experienced and confident enough!), otherwise, you could drill it with a spiral drill (ideally a dulled drill bit).
