34th ICHC 2026 | Haniya Fatemah | Sacred Heart Convent School | Lahore | HFP | 2nd Session
Building on the academic foundation of the earlier proceedings, the second session of the 34th International Children’s Health Conference (ICHC 2026) continued the spirit of dialogue, youth engagement, and global health awareness. The session was moderated by Ms. Musfira Miraj (Hamdard Public School), who ensured a dynamic and engaging environment for young speakers and participants.

A central highlight of the session was the participation of young delegates representing a diverse range of national and international institutions. Each speaker demonstrated confidence, awareness, and a thoughtful understanding of global health challenges.

• Explains the shift in medicine from treating symptoms to curing root causes.
• Highlights COVID-19 as a global example of success through rapid vaccine development and scientific innovation.

The session was further enriched by motivational speaker and Teaching Fellow at Teach for Pakistan, Mr. Faizan Aslam Soofi, who added an inspiring dimension by encouraging students to pursue knowledge with passion, remain resilient in challenges, and develop a strong sense of purpose in contributing to society.
The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Khalid Naseem, Administrator, Hamdard Public School & Hamdard Village School, followed by the Dua-i-Saad, marking a respectful and meaningful close to the proceedings.
At the conclusion of the second session, shields and certificates were distributed among the young delegates by Ms. Sadia Rashid and Dr. Mukhtiar Hussain Bhayo, recognising their outstanding participation, confidence, and contributions.
This session served as a platform for youth expression and global dialogue, reflecting the Conference’s commitment to empowering young voices alongside scientific learning. It highlighted the importance of nurturing informed, confident, and socially responsible individuals prepared to contribute to global health challenges, carrying forward the message: “Together for Health. Stand with Science.”
