I spent a lot of time wishing things had gone differently.

Looking back…

I’m not so sure.

A lot of the things I love today weren’t in the cards.

The garden.

The property.

Learning how to drive a riding mower.

The stories.

The woman I’m becoming.

Neither was this life.

But somehow…

I ended up exactly where I needed to be.

Maybe life wasn’t falling apart.

Maybe it was just shuffling the deck.

And maybe…

it was in the cards after all.
