BoBoiBoy, the new kid in town, is staying with his grandfather who makes a living by selling cocoa products on a mobile stall. He becomes friends with Gopal, Ying and Hanna on his first day. Meanwhile Adu Du, an alien miner on a mission for his emperor has discovered an extremely rare mineral on earth – cocoa. Cocoa can be converted into the most powerful source of energy in the galaxy. Knowing this, Adu Du decides to descend on Earth and seize all the cocoa. Due to his assistant, Probe’s mistake, BoBoiBoy discovers their evil plan and accidentally brings home Adu Du’s secret weapon: the Power Sphere. The Power Sphere transforms BoBoiBoy and friends into superheroes, each with different abilities. It's now up to BoBoiBoy and his super friends to defend earth from the menacing Adu Du while worrying about exams, bullies and other normal stuff in their lives.
