Beautiful ripples and reflections on a tidal ocean rock pool surface. The unsung beauty of nature is often in the detail overlooked. I invite you to spend the next 10 minutes with me and just observe and enjoy all the subtle beauty in this simple little scene.

I'm so glad the video reproduced the variety of ripples and reflections so accurately. There are quickly repeating ripples from the breeze, criss-crossing random ripples from refraction, circular expanding ripples from popping bubbles, washing from small waves making it over the boundary rocks, reflections from passing clouds dancing on the surface and shimmering sunlight. Nature has so much beauty crammed into every inch... it's only when we stop and patiently observe that we truly see and know it.
