What happens when you're THE ONLY FAN inside a stadium?

More adventures from the weirdest baseball season ever!

MLB isn't allowing fans inside stadiums right now, but the New York Boulders (aka Rockland Boulders) of the independent Frontier League *is* allowing up to 500 fans to attend each home game -- and for a few hours before the first pitch, I got VIP access and permission to be the only fan inside. Did I get close to the players? Yes. Did I run around and snag a zillion baseballs? Yes! Is this video amazing? Obviously.

Huge thanks to everyone with the Boulders for welcoming me to the stadium and also making it possible for anyone to watch live professional baseball in person these days. Ken Kostik, the Director of Media Relations, was especially helpful, along with Bobby Nodelman (stadium operations) and Shawn Reilly (team president). Shoutout to James Loeffler (@jclu_ttmgraphs on Twitter) for encouraging me to check out a Boulders game in the first place. Thanks as always to Chris Yon (@yonnernyc on Instagram) for filming. And thanks to Zack Hample for editing. He is truly the GOAT.

Check out the Boulders online at nyboulders.com and @nyboulders on Twitter and Instagram.

This video was filmed on August 6, 2020.

Thanks for watching and stay safe out there!
