Here is my FE8 GBA-style cover of Corneria from Star Fox.

This remix uses the orchestral hit instrument imported from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade (FE6), because I was dissatisfied with a version using FE8's vanilla NIMAP soundfont.

While this arrangement is primarily based on the SNES version, I also wanted to celebrate the continued legacy of the series, including the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 remake of Star Fox 64 (SF64), commonly referred to as Star Fox (2026).
Composed by Hajime Hirasawa, the Corneria theme serves as the opening stage music of the original Star Fox on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The track combines energetic percussion and melodic synth lines to establish the fast-paced, arcade-style action that defined the series.

The music accompanies Fox McCloud and the Star Fox team as they defend the planet Corneria from the forces of Andross. Despite the limitations of the SNES hardware and Super FX chip era, the original Star Fox soundtrack became highly recognizable for its futuristic sound and dynamic stage themes.
This cover was made using the soundfont of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on the Game Boy Advance. I used AnvilStudio and FEBuilder to create this arrangement. The track is fully usable in potential ROM hacks.
Credit for the FEGBA-style Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fox McCloud sprite portrait used in the thumbnail goes to The Blind Archer.
