With the Kabataş station opened on June 29, 2006, the connection to M2 Yenikapı Hacıosman Metro Line was established over F1 Taksim - Kabataş Funicular Line, and thus, it was provided with rail systems between 4th Levent and Atatürk Airport. All stations of T2 Zeytinburnu - Bağcılar Line, which was put into service in 2006 and operated with high-based tram vehicles, were harmonized with low-floor trams only after a week and were merged with T1 Line on February 3, 2011. With this study, direct transportation from Bağcılar to Kabataş was provided.
