Removing Oil from Your Bowling Ball
I’ve had Several Requests to Make this Video...
After Several Weeks/Months/Years of Bowling, you may find that the reaction of of your bowling ball may become “dead”. The reason for this is because your bowling ball is porous and after several games, the lane oil is absorbed into your bowling ball and becomes less reactive.
You may find several versions of removing the lane oil from your bowling ball, including baking; however, I find this particular method easier and less messy. You will need a bucket large enough to completely submerse your bowling ball under water, a canister of disposable wipes (Clorox is usually what I use) to remove the oil, and paper towels to dry the finger holes.
