#43 A Study of Biondina. Demonstration .
The portrait of Biondina was painted in 1879 by the German artist, Frederick Leighton. The painting I've done here is a smaller detail of the original. It took about 3 hours to paint, and is on a 12"x 10" stretched canvas.

The colours I used in this painting are as follows: Titanium White, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow Ochre, Sap Green, Ultramarine Blue, and Lamp Black.
