1,000+ HP Shelby GT 500 Mustang | Targa Newfoundland | Exotic Street Race

Woah! Dennis gets flattened into the seat of a 1000+ WHP Shelby Mustang as it tears through the streets of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Targa Newfoundland is an event unlike any other in the western hemisphere, unleashing high performance race machines, exotic super cars, and folks with a need for speed onto city streets and neighborhoods! We checked out a lot of sweet rides before they took to the course, including a 1979 Ford Escort turned serious racer! We also found a scenic Show and Shine overlooking Lake Quidi Vidi, where Dennis is stopped in his tracks by a 1958 Edsel Citation with a turret speedometer and an E-475 V8. Then it’s a custom 1948 Chevy Pickup tribute to the hot rod greats, Big Daddy Ed Roth and Von Dutch. We also had a serendipitous find. A 400HP 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II Wagon which came from Dennis' hometown in Indiana.
