We started the day heading east from Aktau, in deeper in to Mangystau region (Мангыстау) towards the Ustyurt Plateau, visiting some of the area's most incredible natural wonders, Kyzylkup (Кызылкуп) & Bozzhira (Бозжыра). Due to its location in the fast south west of Kazakhstan, this region is one of the least visited in the country.
