White House: Signal app case 'closed', Waltz staying on national security team

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the case over the Signal app messaging scandal has been closed, as far as the White House is concerned.

Michael Waltz inadvertently invited a journalist to a private Signal app group message where top White House officials discussed highly sensitive and possibly confidential plans over bombing Houthi rebels in Yemen.
