John Dickinson was a Founding Father of the United States and was a member of the Pennsylvania Assembly, 1764; Continental Congress, 1774-1776; Delaware Assembly, 1780; president of Delaware (1781-1783); president of Pennsylvania, 1782-1785; and a member of the Constitutional Convention, 1787.
