Vinegar Syndrome, a disease of LCD panel. It can be repaired by renewing the polarizer film
The Vinegar Syndrome is commonly known as deterioration of photographic film base material, but, also affect LCD panel of electronics equipment such as PC screen.
I will talk about the cause and how to avoid it, as well as how to repair the LCD panel once Vinegar Syndrome has already developed.
Below is Web version of this video and some more topics, but sorry, in Japanese language only for now. May be, you can ask Google to translate to help you.

In my Japanese page, someone suggested me to use thin water solution of dish detergent when you use adhesive type polarizer film. I tried it and found works well. It is easy to position the film and less (no?) chance of dust trap (I believe that it is because of no electrostatic generation), though there is a little disadvantage.

I found good source of polarizer film supply. Check this website;

and go “LCD Polarizer Film”
They sell as large as 17-inch size, and it has polarization axis of 45 degrees (this is great!), and anti-glare. I placed an order for 8-inch size film for repairing my RF Network Analyzer. This may be my next topic of YouTube video.
