General Douglas MacArthur's return to the Philippines
The armada assembled for the invasion
The preliminary bombardment of Leyte
Troops and armor hitting the beaches and some of the action inland.

The narrator talks about activities in the Ryukyu Islands. For reference, Okinawa is the main island in that chain.

Unfortunately the film quality is pretty bad for this clip, but still quite interesting footage.
