“I need to think about it.”

That objection is not a closing problem. It is a discovery problem.

It means you did not make the pain of staying where they are feel worse than the cost of changing it.

Here is the AARC method. Four steps every time.

Acknowledge. Let it land before you respond. “I completely get that. This is a big decision and your home
deserves the right choice.”

Ask. Find out what is actually holding them back. “What specifically is still on your mind?”

Reframe. Tie it back to their pain. “The drafts, the energy bills, the window that will not lock right, those are not
going to be cheaper to fix in the spring.”

Close. Give them a clear next step. “Based on everything we went over, what would need to be true for you to
feel good about moving forward today?”
