Archipiélago de Juan Fernández (reserva mundial de la Biósfera). Este Parque es uno de los lugares de mayor interés botánico del mundo por su flora que se destaca por ser 70% endémico, propia y exclusiva del lugar.

The Juan Fernández Islands are a sparsely inhabited island group reliant on tourism and fishing in the South Pacific Ocean, situated about 667 km off the coast of Chile, and is composed of several volcanic islands:
Robinson Crusoe, located closest to the mainland of continental South America, and its surrounding islets:
Juananga, Santa Clara, an islet located 1 km southwest of Robinson Crusoe:
Alejandro Selkirk Island ,181 km further west.

Easter Island is a Polynesian island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, at the southeastern most point of the Polynesian triangle. A special territory of Chile annexed in 1888, Easter Island is widely famous for its 887 extant monumental statues, called moai, created by the early Rapanui people. It is a World Heritage Site (as determined by UNESCO) with much of the island protected within the Rapa Nui National Park. In recent times the island has served as a cautionary tale about the cultural and environmental dangers of overexploitation. Ethnographers and archaeologists now argue that the introduction of diseases carried by European colonizers and the slave raiding that devastated the population in the 1800s had a much greater social than environmental impact. Introduced animals—first rats and then sheep—were largely responsible for the island's loss of native flora.

El archipiélago Juan Fernández es un conjunto de islas parte del territorio de Chile ubicadas en el Pacífico Sur a más de 670 km del continente. Lo componen las islas Robinson Crusoe, Alejandro Selkirk , el islote Santa Clara e islotes menores. Son famosas por la novela Robinson Crusoe. La madrugada del 27 de febrero de 2010 las islas se vieron afectadas por un tsunami con olas de hasta 15 metros de altura provocadas como consecuencia del terremoto de 8.8 grados de magnitud que sacudió a gran parte del país.
