Assam PAT Data Entry Guide: Student Response Logging for Upper Primary Schools

Step-by-step administrative procedure for Upper Primary (Class 6-8) teachers to register on the SwiftChat PAT Assam Bot, select evaluation mediums, and systematically log periodic student assessment marks for the academic term.

Launch the PAT Bot
Step 1
Open the SwiftChat App on your smartphone. Locate and launch the official PAT Assam Bot. If you don't have it active, scan the departmental QR code or search for it in the built-in Bot Store.
Step 2
Send a simple message saying "Hi" to activate the chat interface. Select your preferred communication language. When prompted, type your school's UDISE Code followed by your Unique Teacher ID to link your profile
Step 3
Choose the medium of instruction used for the test (Assamese, English, Bodo, or Bengali). Select "Record Student Performance", then select your respective Upper Primary Class (e.g., Grade 6, 7, or 8), Section, and the Subject.
Pick a student from the populated school list. Mark them as "Present" and tap "Start Assessment". Step through the quiz layout, selecting the exact option chosen by the student on their physical answer sheet. Click "Save and Continue" after each child
Once all individual entries show a status of completed, navigate to the Home Menu. Select "View Student Performance Summary" to double-check the accuracy of the logs, then click "Confirm/Submit" to upload the final metrics to Samagra Shiksha Assam.
