First 48 hours van life Lake Placid NY [got lost hiking]

I'm so happy to be in Lake Placid NY in the Adirondack Mountains! I had an amazing time hiking, climbing and exploring but got a little lost on my way out. I was able to find my van with the help of All Trails maps that I had thankfully downloaded before the hike, but even with that it was challenging. I also celebrated my 50th birthday (to myself from back in May) at a spa day at Mirror Lake Inn. This is why I love van life so much. I can go anywhere in the van and it's just easy. I really love this van life!

Lake Placid is such a beautiful place! If you're ever up here, make sure to stop by Mirror Lake - it's one of the most stunning places I've seen this season.
