This is the cover of Refined by Fire: A Self-help Memoir, my first book. Though they are supportive, I've come to terms with the fact that many people in my life just don't read. Considering this, I'm recording my book here to ensure that everyone I care about gets the opportunity to interact with me and my project. And if you're reading this, I care about your well-being as well. We're all in this together. I call it a memoir because at the beginning of each chapter I tell a story from a pivotal point in my life. I identify my book as self-help because I build upon those stories to share wisdom and lessons from my life, from throughout history, and even situations that you might relate to. I poured my heart and soul into this project, so if it helps anyone to get through a tough time or to expand the way in which they view the world and the people in it... mission accomplished. I look forward to the feedback, telling my story, and possibly inspiring others to do the same. Always remember that there's someone out there who is walking in shoes similar to the ones you once walked in. You may or may not see it now, but you could be the catalyst for someone's growth.
