DJI Phantom 3 Standard - Cheapest Antenna Mod upgrade DIY - FPVLR / DBSMod alternative

In this video I show you how to modify the DJI Phantom 3 Standard controller in a very cheap way.

This mod is based on changing the stock 2.4Ghz internal panels with high gain aftermarket omnidirectional antennas, the same that are used for increase the range of your home router. Then we're gonna replace the stock omni directional antenna used for the RC with a 5.8Ghz panel shaped FPV one.

This components are cheaper than the drones specific kits, and the result is very good.

In questo video mostro come modificare il radiocomando del Phantom 3 Standard in maniera molto economica.

Questa modifica consiste nel sostituire i pannelli da 2.4Ghz originali interni al radiocomando con delle antenne ad alto guadagno aftermarket, le stesse che sono usate per aumentare la potenza dei router casalinghi. Poi andremo a sostituire l'antenna omnidirezionale del radiocomando con una FPV a pannello da 5.8ghz.

I componenti sono più economici dei kit specifi per droni, ed i risultati sono molto buoni.
