In cloud systems, access is given to both humans and applications — but not in the same way.

👤 User = Human (developer, admin)
🔐 Role = Permissions (Dev, Admin, Read-only)
🤖 Service Account = Application identity

Example:
A developer uses a role to deploy applications,
while an application uses a service account to access resources like storage or APIs.

👉 Remember:
Users are people, roles define access, and service accounts are used by applications.
