Austins Birth Story

This isn't just a birth story, this is a journey. Starting with her very first planned home birth which led to an emergency unplanned cesarean and a very long nicu stay. Then with her second child, another planned home birth. This time as a vbac mom. Her entire pregnancy she had to fight to keep herself and her baby from preeclampsia and FINALLY she made it full term. Leading to her body going into labor naturally on her due date. Nothing about this birth story was easy. In fact its beautifully heartbreaking. BUT with every slow progression made and with every hour ticking by, hospital transfer for a vacuum assisted delivery included, this amazingly strong mom got her successful, unmediated vbac!
