How to Add Support to a Sheath Wedding Gown, Add Boning, Add Bust Support.
Often, we are presented with a bride who needs a lot of support from her gown, but has mistakenly purchased an unsupportive sheath gown. #girlneedssupport #keepitclassy If she cannot hide supportive undergarments under her gown, then we need to make some improvements! One way that this situation can be remedied is by redesigning the structure of the gown. #freesewinglessons
One point to note, to maximize the support, you will want a mesh with equal or lesser stretch than the original tulle or net. I was limited by the color choice of this bride and didn't use a mesh that was quite as tense and I would have liked. Always remember, stacking stretch increases tension. That law helps us seamsters out! :)
