This was filmed on 28th September 1986 - 3 weeks before "You're The Voice" would enter the Australian Charts for the first time and a month before the release of his hugely successful album "Whispering Jack".
I love watching this now knowing that he had no idea how much his life was about to change.
The song Wind Beneath My Wings would end up becoming a huge hit for Bette Midler two and a half years later and would go on to win Grammys for both Record and Song of the Year in February 1990.
