Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F2.8: Lens Review

The Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 is a popular lens that's been around since 2006. I test the lens with more modern higher resolution sensors (24mp) and convey my thoughts on using the lens long term (over 5 years) - where it's stronger and weaker areas are.

This version is the non VC variant, there is a VC one from Tamron and alternatives include the Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 with OS. Available on the 4 main SLR mounts Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax
